Yongey Mingyur Dorje Rinpoche (b 1976) is a Lama in the Kagyu and Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Mingyur Rinpoche is also known to be an incarnation of Kangyur Rinpoche, a Nyingma lama of high renown. After completing his first three-year retreat at the age of 17, Mingyur Rinpoche was appointed Retreat Master of Palpung Sherab Ling Monastery. Mingyur Rinpoche has been appointed by His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche to be the head of Tergar Monastery, which is being constructed at Bodh Gaya.
